Yesterday morning the horses we all a little frisky, no doubt due to the cold front that just came through, dropping our daytime temps by about 15 degrees F. I was a little frustrated when I went to feed the horses in the morning, and Koda (the 3yo DWB x TB Brady is kept with) [...]

Today Angel had her second training session! She did very well… This was only our second training session, and the first one was very short, only about 30 minutes while she was at her foster home. That was over two weeks ago! Angel has been at this barn for almost two weeks, it was time [...]

We posted a blog about Lady before, and soon after that post her foster home considered adopting her. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out for this beautiful girl, and she is still in search of a new, forever home! Lady does have some health issues, which you can read about in her first blog. She is currently medication free [...]

Angel is a very adorable little girl, but she is a little ways from being an “Angel”, so to speak. I am confident she will come around, but it’s going to take time. Angel needs a lot of confidence and trust building in people. She is ok with, and loves her head scratched and rubbed. However, today while brushing her I found out her head, neck and back are about all she’s really comfortable having people touching [...]

This past summer I was very fortunate in that I became the owner of a yearling Irish Draught (ID), Epona’s Skara Brae, or as we call him, Brady (or sometimes Moose). He has several of his own blogs, he’s quite a character and everyone who meets him seems to fall in love with him! He definitely has a charm about him. This blog is not Brady focused [...]

We were all very glad to see her arrive safely to her foster home. Awaiting at her foster home was Ginger, a 7 year old walking horse mare – who is also our first ever Filly Tracks training client! So a blog [...]
